I sent mine back to newegg.com for replacement.
However, this was what I was doing until I just can't tolerate it anymore:
I just flash the OS not the eMMC. That way I still have my contact, email, few setting on desktop, etc. That way you don't have to do redo everything.
After I set everything to the way I wants it to be, then I just do a backup. I save the Back up on my computer too. After each reflash, I just reinstall the backup. That save a lot of time and frustration.
However, I just can't be reflashing N900 every day since I don't carry my laptop around with me to reflash it. My desktop is XP which won't recognize N900 when it's in the brick mode. My laptop has Vista which recognize N900 in brick mode.
