Select troubled catalogue/ repository > Details > tick to Disable > OK

And installable applications finally refreshed, showing current date.

2 years ago the problem was much more complicated and I have had to
edit file with repositories to remove wrong code
downloaded via WiFi.

It would help if you specified which repository you were having problems with. You are in the 770 subforum but I thought you had an N800?
