It didn't look like much "hacking" was required, however.

Yes, it appeared as though on-screen instructions suggested entering a "?" to get a menu, and from there, "connecting people" did the rest.

It was very Hollywood OS, but as a marketing gimmick sent to reviewers, that's appropriate. And it doesn't make me want one of the boxes any less. The N900 and accessories in the top section are nifty, sure, but I'd like to see what makes the box tick.
