What keeps it for me is Maemo Mapper with a Nokia designed vehicle mount... and it can now tether to the N900's 3G connection. Mine hasn't left the car since I got the N900 but it is what I use while in the car instead of the N900.

I might even add Carman now that my N810 has a single purpose.
