I am trying to install LinuxMCE and having some difficulties. However, it shows a lot of promise and the N800/770 would be an ideal remote for it. LinuxMCE doesn't seem to support the N800/770 at present but theoretically it should be able to support the N800/770 as a remote over either Bluetooth or WiFi. It already supports various Symbion phones and also PDAs. Since LinuxMCE is written on Ubuntu it should be possible to port.
