This is the thing, I wonder how many of the complaints about battery life should really just be complaints about the indicator?

Obviously a lot of people on here are monitoring battery life more reliably using alternative methods, and they would know how empty the battery is.

But perhaps some more casual users are putting too much faith in the desktop battery indicator?
