while i think this is the best solution for the resistive touch screens, i have to say to the OP to be careful... i earlier posted a thread here about a scratch i got on my screen. What i left out is that fact that i got it from my finger nail... it's weird, i know, but i think (i hope) that something was stuck under the nail or something... and no, i don't have edgy or jagged finger nails, they're smoothly trimmed.

still, don't worry about it, i've been using touch screen phones for a year now and a touch screen laptop for two, and never experienced the same problem or heard of it happening before

iPhone/capacitive touch screen users usually face the same problem and get used to the resistive touch screen with time.
