Patience people. Nokia promised you nothing. Give them time to get it right. In the meantime i'll be enjoying my phone.

Im reasonably happy with my N900, however it cant be denied that Nokia repeatedly mentioned that a firmware update would come in December/at the end of the year. It was pretty much promised. I can appreciate a delay can happen, as is the way of the world - however Im not sure why people seem to deny it was repeatedly mentioned MMS would come with the next firmware update.
