Yes, you will be able to receive calls, send texts, and listen to voice message on your new N900 without the ATT 3G capabilities. The only thing you will be missing is, obviously, 3G network-- which, as a matter of fact, is not available in most US locate. T-mobile currently equip my city with 3G. The only thing that changed was browsing on the net. So, go ahead and get the N900. I must warn you though that, not everyone that were so thrilled about the N900 have the same excitement when they receive the product.
