I chose the N900 simply b/c I was impressed! I am a gadget lover at heart, and I have owned many revolutionary phones, UMPCs, and the like. After the iPhone, I was no longer searching for a phone solution. I know the iPhone is flawed, but I appreciated so much about it's innovation, and sexiness. I was tired of getting different smartphones, only to discover something 'smarter' down the line.

Then came the N900. I wasn't looking for a new phone, in fact I just recently purchased my new iPhone 3G. But when I read the specs, and understood that the N900 was truly something to behold...I did just that. I ordered one after much research and debate. I usually have some level of buyer's remorse, but with the N900, that has not been the case.

I am a professional basketball player, entrepreneur and techie, all rolled into one. Because I travel playing in Europe during the fall/winter and in the WNBA in the summer, I need technology that will assist me in living this unique lifestyle, run several businesses as well as parent a 10 year-old daughter that travels with me.

Much of what I do, is a collaboration with employees, or networking in the cloud. Having access to a true internet experience via the Maemo browser makes this possible. I find myself on my phone more, and my laptop less.

Yes, the N900 is in an early phase...but so far SO GOOD!!!
