I haven't read this whole thread, bugt registering the same disappointing issue with my N900.

So disappointing. The dual flash is an improvement on the N95 but it's wasted with this glare issue.

I tried putting black electrical tape over the chrome that's around the LED flasher's but it did not solve the problem.

I tried with the cover off and it definately solves it.

So what is causing this issue??
