Has anyone ACTUALLY read the article?
The writer states the N900 can receive MMS messages, but can't send them. Really? 'Cause my N900 can't seem to receive MMS messages. Prolly something to do with the fact that there are no MMSC settings to be changed/added to the phone settings.
Right now, the N900 cell phone can only receive MMS messages but not send them.
If he's so wrong about this, why would anyone pay attention to his article?
And furthermore, MMS should indeed be on the N900. Just because you MMS opponents may be uber geeks, no everyone is a l33t geek like you. People are used to having MMS functionality on their phone.
I bet that when you tell most "regular" folk to email you a picture, they have no idea that their MMS application can also email by entering an email address in the number field.
And besides, why should we MMS proponents have to log into our email account to see an MMS?
If you don't like MMS (be it because all your freinds are l33t geeks, be it because you're with a carrier who charges you per MMS message, or whatever the reason), then you have the right to not use it.
And to the poster who just had to bring the iPhone into this conversation with saying that iPhone users didn't care they didn't have MMS for three years, I ask you: Why in hell did Apple bring MMS support to the iphone then? Surely, it must be because the iPhone community didn't complain about lack of MMS support?
