i searched the the vodafone website. i cant find any plan for me that would send mms cheaper the 0.50 cent per message.
Here we only have plans/bundles for pretty much 3 things:
voice, sms and internet.

thats why i even for sms i use the internet like voipbuster (or any other betamax provider) and now we have WebTexter application that integrates more and more with the N900 so we can easily (and cheaply) send them!

Adding MMS would mean nothing to you. That's fine. You wouldn't use it. But there are more than your group that surrounds you that are considered users.

Heck, NTT Docomo's i-Mode (and other services) are partly based around being able to send photos to other phones easily. And it's a huge pull in Japan. Are they out of sync because they don't use e-mail for it?

No. They are just a different kind of user. Not all users are like you. Or like me. At least I can admit it. Can you?

wait i didnt start that "out of sync"...
I started today with saying.. "ahh now i get it.. its the states that are wanting and complaining about mms.." because around me i havent heard even 1.
And when i said that somebody told me that i was out of sync?

I just said 1 thing. that i dont get why people are not complaining more about another missing feature that are on other phones for a long long time and thats voice dialing.. thats even dangerous for loads of people NOT to have... (not to mentioned that using your phone in your hand in your car is even forbidden here and i think it most countries at least in Europa)

Also i agree with another comment over here.. if you really dont have an good internet plan on your phone.. why buy the n900...
Or are you really always in the neighborhood of WIFI stations.. I know in the states those are a bit more wide spread then over here.. So yeah that could be an option.
for me its 10 euro's for pretty much unlimited (not really but they never complained yet) 3.5G internet per month thats the same as sending 20 mms..

But it seems that for a some people in outer countries (i like to know the Europeans that do send a lot of mms) mms is important. But for me and i think anybody over here in holland it isnt of that great concern, i guess nokia based it self on that. and the fact that people now share pictures not only through email but through a lot of other channels which the N900 really shines, i guess they found that much more important to have.
