I'm not against MMS arriving on the N900 eventually, I just don't consider it the #1 priority which is the tone of the article linked in the first post.

Someone else stated that MMS was on par (1-to-1) with SMS, yet when you consider that in 2008, worldwide, 1.3billion MMS messages were sent compared with 4.1 TRILLION SMS messages (ie. 1 MMS sent for every ~3100 SMS, or put another way MMS equates to about 0.03% of SMS traffic) it's obvious that MMS is a LOT less popular than some people are trying to make out.

I will admit that MMS serves a purpose for some people/families/groups, but they're a relatively small minority of users (based on the traffic numbers) and I would rather Nokia target their seemingly limited Maemo development resources elsewhere before getting around to adding MMS.

Let's face it, there are a TON of bugs raised in b.m.o which relate to non-working or semi-working functionality that is more "basic" than MMS.

Although when MMS does come, I'm sure the boggers will find something else about which to kick Nokia/Maemo/N9x0 etc.
