It's possible that in some countries MMS is really a pain in the ***, I just know that in france and belgium it appears to work relatively well. It's maybe country specific. Btw the thing is some people need MMS, I think it's important for nokia to implement that function 'cause it's a shame for a flagship phone to not implement such a thing, but I agree that it's even more important to resolve others pending bugs more critical. Which seems to be the case, I haven't heard of the presence of MMS in PR1.1.
Moreover I've seen on the forum, don't remember where maybe in this thread, that a developer achieved to get and send MMS on its N900 with a python script (filename is fmms.zip)
