I dunno what it is but some people just love their iphones hehe. Though I must admit capacitive is easier to get used to than the resistive screen imo.
About people and iPhone - 100% correct. the iPhone is easy, for a whole lot of people. After I got my iPhone3G, I gave my old 2g iphone (yeah, I had two of them, I'm an idiot) to my sister, a 40 years old american soccer mom, she likes it, her husband has one and he adores it... but I would expect a lot more out of techies like my boss and such, I mean, for me, as a tech enthusiast the iPhone just won't cut it.

About the screen - It's my first phone with a resistive screen and so far I like it, it's true that capacitive is way more sensitive but IMO nokia did an excellent job with the N900's screen. My friend has the nokia 8500 and I can't stand its screen. Even though they both are resistive, the N900's screen is supreme.
