If I'd ever actually seen any of those, I'd know whether that's what I see. I suspect yes: you view from just behind the little person so you see him/her moving through the environment. A bit like maneovering your mii on a TV screen (I got to play with a wii at NewYear!)

PS I've been asking for Caller-ID to the voices in my head for years but still nothing each birthday or Christmas!

Easy - ask your friendly neighbourly mental health chaplain. Indeed, just today I was helping someone with "How do I know which voices are angelic and which demonic?" I have the best job in the world!
