one day you may just need a gps- there are very very valuable sometimes.(some days i have to walk around london to many locations better to have on a phone than a seperate device- i still use my iphone for that) even when i use my tomtom in the car, i still need to use my iphone gps as it is online and can tell me about trouble routes
Thank you for finally seeing and believing what I have been saying. For my use-case, the n900 is a near-perfect phone.

I recognise that there are things missing for other people: mail-for-exchange is, I am told, sludgy. The Maps app needs work - I take people's word that it is inadequate. There are people for whom MMS is an important function.

All these things and more are important to different people with diferent use-cases. If your device is missing one that is essential to you, I hope it will soon be remedied.

But please accept that it is not because I don't use the device that it is ideal for me - just that my needs and its functions dovetail rather neatly. There are things I'd like to see - most of them will come from the community rather than Nokia. But I really don't have any 'gripes'.
