The battery life is nice on the N900 (I've only had it shorten on me after I installed a few questionable apps but I'm to lazy to diagnose it right now). But if I played with it as often as I did with my n800 I would need an extra battery or one of those rejuicers. With the n800 that was fine, cause I could still use my cheap free cell phone to receive calls or make a call if I ever needed to. With the N900 if I use it as much as I used the n800 I find myself with the inability to receive calls or make them (on the rare occasion that I do). =P

The only problem with that is telcos don't want you to have the not-tough-to-access control panel.
The battery life I am truly interested in. I have seen people on this forum go from several days to several hours. My N810 lasted near 7 hours of *active* use and lasted several days if left to it's own devices.

My Android phone (g1) - If I use it *at all* during the day except for the occasional phone call.. it will not make it. I literally keep a charger at my desk at work, and a charger at home. I cannot make it 0730 to 1700 with my android if I play with it. Frustrating.

So when I get an N900 I will be testing the battery thoroughly. It *has* to be better than this G1.
