I have the Nexus and the N900. Had the N900 from first day Nokia NYC started selling to the public and just got the Nexus One. They each have their pros and cons. I like the size of the Nexus and I didn't realize how much I missed typing with one hand in portrait mode. I also miss applications. I've heard the argument that because the N900 has a full browser that there is no need for applications but I disagree. These screens are so small that applications make navigating for a particular task easier.
With that being said, I find myself liking Maemo more than Android. The Nexus looks a lot sexier than the N900, the live wall paper is cool, but I like how the N900 organizes my contacts, my messages, and I even like the email pop ups.
Phone-wise, I find the Nokia is a better phone. The sound quality is better than HTC's. I also noticed that the N900's wi fi antenna is stronger.
I may just send the Nexus back and get an iPod Touch to do what the N900 can't (casual gaming, play the iTunes protected music and video)
