The Bluetooth Dial Up Networking package works awesome to allow my Desktop/Laptop to gain access to the N900's 3G connection over bluetooth.

For a "Mobile Hotspot" Joikuspot style app there are several initiatives in the works now in the Maemo Garage, but nothing that works 100% yet.

I did read that with some extras packages and a kernel modification you can broadcast a mobile hotspot at the command line, but it's without DHCP so you would have to manually configure the IP configuration on any hosts that connect.

Anyway, the progress is coming along nicely so I'm sure we'll have a full end user friendly solution soon.
