The problem is that I won't get a non-proxy connection for ages. And, I mean, I've read even on this forum people have been able to get app manager to work with proxy. As my major goal I want to achieve that, too. But for now, I would at least like to be able to manage my applications.
Nokia's default applications not in the list for remove in App.Manager but you can do it by x-term:
1. open x-term
2. "sudo gainroot"
3. "apt-get remove packageName"
