Thanks to a generous soul here on the boards, they offered me their N900 that they were not going to buy... but yet I couldn't buy it at the time either.

To be honest, I've seen some developer programs for hardware go a bit better than the N900 developer program when that hardware was a significant change than prior iterations or if they wanted more exposure for that forthcoming hardware.

I'll never understand why Nokia chose this path; but I've seen better programs in the past.
