FYI I tried with privoxy and indeed it changes the user agent, but someway google detects opera and refuses to co-operate. I also got the fix-google-services.js javascript from http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/200...-friendly.html and referenced it in /home/user/.opera/opera.ini in the line User JavaScript File=
and setting User JavaScript=1 , but... no joy :-(
