Keep an eye on the news at the upstream project site. There was one release this summer and a bunch in 2007. I'm not sure how many commits are going into the source tree, but i think not many.

It's hard to get people to rally around a dev project that will always require users to extract their commercially-purchased content to be able to play.
Gotta give credit to the OP for going to the effort to make a video and prepare installation instructions for a game he's never played. Hehe psst...you gotta build an extractor before you can harvest vespene.
