Cleaning up the mess by hands might not be easy. If you want to keep going...

Try installing package again, then removing it:

dpkg -i --force-all amsn-blabla.deb
dpkg --purge --force-all amsn
Also where did you get package from? I could probably try to install/remove it + check uninstall script.
