the reason im spawning that notification is since it doesnt autofetch reliably i want to make sure the user knows theres a mms waiting

I'm working on getting the notifications to open fMMS, it should be in a future upgrade

are you using the latest version? what does it say when you click on the message in fMMS? theres a few bugs regarding unfinished retrievals still that needs to be fixed, this could be one of them

Problem with fMMS? Run in x-terminal: cp /tmp/fmms.log /home/user/MyDocs/
After that you'll see fmms.log in filemanager or when you connect the device to your desktop as a mass storage device.
