could it be you're on page 1 and need to click "next" (or whatever it says in your language)? the button is right below the last application, on the right side. also, when you enter the store, they give you a list of recommendations. this list could be short in theory. (it's long for me.) click on one of the categories in the grey toolbar on top of the page (applications, games,...) to see the full selection.
