And lastly, where is the best place to get it from? The Vodafone shop is ridiculous, being the most expensive. The Carphone Warehouse is cheaper, but I have been told to stay away in the past. I can't afford to pay out £500 upfront so if there is any better places than the Carphone Warehouse, shout up!

Ignoring the whitelist part as it has been discussed, i'm not a linuz user, and today i managed to connect to my work windows network through VPN, i vnc'd my work pc and used it really very easily! - was shocked and impressed!

Anyway - i'm learning linux, and finding the phone a gem! - powerful enough to do what you would on a pc, but with the community here i'm learning bit by bit. When you sift through the rants and whines, found on most forums, you find some great posts, walkthroughs and guides.

There is a lovely MobilePhonesDirect Rant - erm, i meant thread - do a search on here to find it

Apart from the crappy wait we all had, and ignoring some poor communication - i have been impressed with parts - and very happy with my Vodafone UK contract.

As good as the rest i'd say.
