If the CPW can keep my number, then I may go with them, it's the best deal I've seen, and my 19-odd month old N82 is way out of shape.
I have been keeping an eye on the N900 for a few months now, no phone has taken my eye more than this one currently, apart from the Xperia X10, but having played with an iPod touch for a while, the physical keyboard is more or less a must as I don't enjoy touch screen keyboards as much, so I'm not as interested in it anymore.
I wish that my N82 had better internet facilities, I think I will be wanting a good browser, good enough so I don't need to use my computer, so the N900 is definitely the one in that department too.
A phone that I can be happy with for 24 months is a must. I'm incredibly bored of my N82 as it can't do anything interesting anymore. I imagine Maemo will have a much longer lifespan, heck, I might even write my own apps one day as I used to program!
Pretty sure its the right phone, just hope that a white list app can be created soonish.
I'll have a read of that thread you linked too.
