Correct. If your python is optified, /opt/pymaemo would exist. I would advise NOT following part 2 of the first post, but rather doing:

sudo gainroot
apt-get install pymaemo-optify
apt-get clean
Doing this freed up an extra 8% in my rootfs. Cheers!
