Kerio Mailserver is based on the active sync protocol. When updating it hangs during initializing. It then says "Communication error with exchange server"

In the error log of kerio mailserver there's the following output:

[14/Jan/2010 11:02:27] ASyncRequest.cpp: ActiveSyncRequest::Initialize: Unable to read request data (ContentLength: 1072, Available: 0)
[14/Jan/2010 11:04:00] ASyncRequest.cpp: ActiveSyncRequest::Initialize: Unable to read request data (ContentLength: 1072, Available: 0)

I tried both enable and disable calender updates. Still no effect.
