Nobody ever promised that it was fixed in PR1.1. You shouldn't rely on forum gossip too much.

Not all numbers with * and # are USSD codes. IIRC there are four categories of such number codes. Only a few of those categories have been fixed with PR1.1. But USSD was promised for a future release.
