in kmplayer gui, which player are you using? osso-media-server or mplayer? do the files play with both engines? also, i think this bug's already been reported, and (supposedly) fixed https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5948 http://wiki.maemo.org/Maemo_5/PR1.1 changes to gstreamer maybe?
