Can you send me more details what document type did you try to open PPT or ODP and specific version of the office document. This should work for MS for formats PPT 2000, 2003 & PPTx for 2007 and ODP Files.. This is clearly a bug if you are not able to open your file.

The format is MS PPS 2003, so it's not Presentation (PPT), just Show. Before I installed KOffice Viewer a file had icon with question mark (unknown file tpye), now it has Koffice's presentation icon, but it couldn't be opened.
