I was commenting on the fact that people has expectations, takes it as a matter of fact, that they should have gotten a free upgrade to Ovi Maps.

You really cannot have such expectations. It is not the norm but the exception whenever some company release payware upgrades which haven't been preannounced.

I am guessing that you had premium software that came with a 1 year free upgrade policy. If so, it was garanteed to have been preannounced as a part of the marketing material. If not, that is an exception and not the rule for aftersales upgrades.

When people rage about unsatisfied expections, those expections should be based on what is the business norm, not on what they would like to have had because it's better elsewhere.
