My N900 is FAST. Fast enough to impress everyone who's played withj it, even iPhone owners. It does everything far faster than the Brand X unit it replaced. It does everything it was supposed to do. It's been rock-solid stable and trouble-free for 1/12 months of heavy use as a phone, tracking several email accounts, using company webportals and general surfing. Obviously the OP has some kinda problem, be it an installed app acting up, defective hardware - whatever - he needs to do some troubleshooting, find the trouble and not put the blame on Maemo or the N900 in general. And those moaning about this or that missing feature: a. Shoulda done your homework. b. It has all the basics - maybe not exactly what YOU want, but the basics all work well. c. Either be patient and wait for missing apps or features to be added or... d. Start coding what you want if you can or... e. Shut up and sell your N900. Written quickly and problem-free from a N900.
