I downloaded the newer maps a couple of days ago using XP and following bun's procedure, no problem. For the guys trying with Win7: have you tried to enable XP compatibility mode? If I remember correctly you'd need to right click on the mapload application icon and (under properties / compatibility) check and enable "run this program in compatibility mode for Win XP". Somebody try and report back?
