1) World map is all with you, preloaded in your N900, do what you want. Say cant go to hochiming city for pho, you can always look at it and salivate with your eyes closed, just an example.

2) Planning between trips, again, the whole world map is in your N900, offline planning is convenient

3) Online search for some "pho" in a new city, say charlotte NC when drive by, just to check how much detour I have to go in order to get there before the restaurant closed, sure it comes with phone number that you can call and plead "I am only 5 miles from your restaurant and we are very hungry, my little kid would go banana without some "pho" tonight, please ... we will try to get there very fast." It happens to me for every single trip!

4) Locate yourself and orientation as well as tracking. This N900 does very well.

5) Need to go to a wedding in IOWA a couple month from now, has NO squat idea which airport to take....

Sure, you can always argue to do this with your 2 lb netbook or something like that, but you can beat a N900 sitting at the back of a car/plane with only so much space without bumping into your neighbor's ?

number 3) is my MUST HAVE and tracking on hiking is also a fascinating experience. Would you agree?
