I have to say that this thread terrifies me! :-O I have only had my N900 for a week (bought from Nokia UK Direct) but the box has a black label, so I don't know which week build it is. Has anyone had any official response from Nokia on this issue, and whether it was addressed at any point in the production cycle? Or are we all in the same boat? If the USB connector fixing is as weak as has been suggested, it sounds like a high proportion of us are going to suffer having our expensive toys returned for repair at some stage. Surely Nokia must have done something - they couldn't continue to sell N900's in knowledge of this weakness surely? Here's my connector - a clear gap right the way around suggests no bulkhead restraint.
