The same problem happened to me when I rebooted my phone in the middle of copying some large files to the phone via ssh. I had to use a root shell to unmount /dev/mmcblk0p1, run fsck on it, and reboot. Now it's fine. Nokia should be noticing the corrupt file system when the kernel reports it and doing all this automatically.
