Had a N95 and now got a N900, if Nokia launches a new device with Maemo 6 just about 6 months after N900 and doesn't support upgrading from Maemo 5, I will never buy a Nokia product again.

This is not a threat or an emotional statement, it is just that as a customer I can't accept buying a product that should be supported for less than a year. If this indeed happen most application developers will focus just on Maemo 6 and there won't be any new apps for N900 owners. It would be a kick in the *** for the early adopters that trusted Nokia pre-ordering the N900 and acted as beta testers.
