ok, my modem is now as follows:
Line Rate - Upstream (Kbps): 320
Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps): 1024
LAN IP Address: 192.168.1.1
Default Gateway: ppp0
Primary DNS Server: 201.10.120.2
Secondary DNS Server: 201.10.128.2

and N900 is IP and DNS automatic.

suggestions??
