I made a package based on the matrix-theme, containing several modifications:

Sounds: Science-Fiction sounds for install, close, open, charge, ...
Icons: Hicolor crystal pixmaps: statusarea, tasklauncher, desktop
Theme: Mediaplayer, application manager, swipe screen

To apply put the files in proper folders (sounds and icons in ~/.local/ for example and backgrounds and images in your theme-folder)
