Wow, what an improvement!

Navigating through Firefox speed and especially page loading speed is greatly improved and is now better than in MicroB. It still has some performance problems on complex pages (Engadget), but it doesn't crash, just freezes for a few seconds. And I'm talking with flash enabled. So with an option to manually play a certain flash object in a webpage it would have been awesome (faster browsing + ad filter).

Startup time is still slow, but keep in mind that MicroB's browserd daemon is always running in the background thus providing faster startup times (majority of data is already in ram). I think that Firefox should implement a similar feature. Flash (eMMC or 256MB one) is too slow for a program like that (and obviously, for MicroB too).

I have also tested flash performance on YouTube and Firefox wins in this category too. Videos are smooth, flash is responsive. It's the first time that I've seen live flash video playing in dashboard's thumbnail smoothly.

Overall, Firefox/Fennec 1.0 has brought great improvements and I like the developing speed. Also, I think that zooming method (with spirals/circles AND with volume hardware buttons) should be just copied from MicroB. But Firefox still needs some polishment. So I will still use MicroB for majority of browsing, but I'm happily looking forward to replace it with Firefox, hopefully with 1.0.1.
