Apparently it was you who weren't getting the point. That is really far from what I said. I said Nokia will not fix navigation. That's life. Live with it.

As to there being no Nokia in the future, Nokia sell more cell phones than any other company. The N900 demand seems to be higher than the supply.

I don't think the N900 support is any much different from any other phone I have owned. Infact, not many cell phones I have owned had as many as two firmware upgrades. My last one had a fix that prevented it from bricking, and a fix to improve battery life. That's all. It wasn't a Nokia. The global trend is towards better support, which is made easier by several devices sharing the same OS. But what you expect is beyond what the average real world experience is.

Nokia recently announced a upgrade to offline navigation software on a handful devices, to already existing customers. Every phone blog in the world made that headline news. Why? Because it is unheard of. Because Nokia is the first company to do such a gesture.

And here people are enraged that this free gift wasn't given to their device.
