I received my N900 yesterday, upgraded to PR1.1 and then installed Fennec RC3. I think this is when MicroB stopped working. I tried to play around with the profile dir unti I saw you post. The posted tip works... so now I fully agree with you ... Why is table-browser-daemon no longer started automatically ?
