I wasn't really talking about bare minimum bug fixes approach we have from Nokia. In switching to Andriod you've got a big step forwards in terms of:
Features
Reliability
Support
Applications
I can't see Maemo 5 ever being 'better' than Andriod (and I
know
we all love MicroB). In 12 months time Andriod will be moving forwards with a rapid progress and Maemo 5 will be dying. Switching seems logical for all concerned, especially Google who could capture a massive market here.
