Yeah, but firefox only supports the open source codecs (Theora) while youtube and vimeo(?) use the proprietary codec h.264. Even in the desktop, only chrome and safari (because apple and google payed to include the codec) support HTML5 video on youtube.
So, I don't think it's gonna come so soon...
