Well, I've heard about someone who received a "limited" N900 (if I'm not wrong, a serbian guy received an N900 without GPS functionality) but I can't understand why sending a blocked N900, and why in FInland (although to send a blocked N900 even in Serbia is unjustifiable, if I pay for a phone I want THAT phone).

Maybe Nokia has the answers, maybe not.
Before flashing (because you will have to flash ) ask it. Then you should flash, and that will make you sure it is/isn't an hardware problem.
